John Powell is an English music composer and music conductor. Based in Los Angeles, California since 1997, Powell has composed music for over 70 feature films, including Face/Off, the Bourne franchise, Happy Feet and its sequel Happy Feet Two, United 93, X-Men: The Last Stand, Wicked and its sequel Wicked: For Good, Evolution, Drumline, Hancock, The Call of the Wild, Bolt, That Christmas, Thelma the Unicorn, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, ten DreamWorks Animation films, eight Blue Sky Studios films and three Illumination films.
